My name is Emily, and I am the human behind E Stark Ceramics. Each piece for sale here was made by me in my home studio.

As a kid, some of my earliest memories are of watching my aunt, a watercolor artist work while I had a pile of crayons and a pad of paper. My passion for clay began in high school where I fell in love with ceramics. After spending four years living in the art room, I attended Penn State where I received by B.F.A. with an emphasis in ceramics, where I focused on creating functional pottery. My life took a left turn here, and I pursued my passion for justice by going to law school, and spent the last 15 years in Montana working and expressing my artistic vision through quilts.

Now that I am back in Pennsylvania, I am working again in clay, and creating work that is influenced by my experiences over the past 20 years of wandering the world. I hope that you can find joy in these pieces and using them, as I do!
